Join Jackie Nguyen for a lunch-and-learn

Diversity, equity and inclusion invites the campus community to a lunch-and-learn with Jackie Nguyen at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C in the Havener Center. Nguyen is a Vietnamese American stage actor who left Broadway after her tour of Miss Saigon was canceled due to the pandemic. She then opened a coffee shop bringing Vietnam’s coffee culture to America.
Nguyen has also used her platform as a safe space for Asian Americans, artists and the LGBTQ community in the Midwest in general and Kansas City in particular.
