ISC graduate research symposium set for April 28

Missouri S&T’s Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) will host the 17th annual Graduate Research Symposium 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Dr. Tim Faley, interim vice provost and dean for Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, will be the distinguished guest speaker.

All campus community members are invited.

The event features presentations on research funded with seed money from the ISC and the smart living and advanced manufacturing signature areas. Graduate students present research in the center’s five following areas:

  • Intelligent manufacturing processes, equipment and systems.
  • Cyber physical and smart living systems.
  • Advanced simulation, sensing, control and communications.
  • Computational intelligence and embedded systems.
  • Cybersecurity and trustworthiness.
