Head named associate provost of faculty affairs at Augusta University

Dr. Karen Head, professor of English and technical communication and director of the Center for Creativity and Innovation at Missouri S&T, has been named associate provost for faculty affairs at Augusta University in Georgia effective July 1.
Head joined S&T in 2021 from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she served as executive director of The Communication Center and associate professor and associate chair in the School of Literature, Media and Communication. As CCI director, she established the annual Trashion Show at S&T and a distinguished lecture series.
