Ph.D. student receives 2023 Testing Innovation Fellowship

Ahmad Gholizadeh, a Ph.D. student in civil engineering, has received the 2023 Testing Innovation Fellowship supported by IGS North America, Geosynthetic Institute and ASTM International Committee D35 on Geosynthetics. The Fellowship Board received multiple applications this year and has opted to invite only two researchers to join the fellowship program. Ahmad Gholizadeh was one of the two who were invited to become a Testing Innovation Fellow with his topic “A Multi-Camera Based Photogrammetric Method to Improve ASTM D4595 Standard”.
Ahmad Gholizadeh’s advisor is Dr. Xiong Zhang, James A. Heidman Professor of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering.
