Miners earn GLVC titles

The men’s indoor track and field teams after the Great Lakes Valley Conference championships.
Four athletes on the Missouri S&T men’s track and field team earned conference titles on the second day of the Great Lakes Valley Conference meet. The Miners also picked up two of the conference’s major awards, including league Coach of the Year, which was presented to Shaun Meinecke, head coach for S&T’s men’s and women’s track and field.
The Miners finished the two-day meet with 158 points, 18 more than second-place Lewis University, and 52 in front of University of Indianapolis.
