The University of Missouri Board of Curators requests nominations for the Williams Awards. These awards are the highest non-academic award granted to students by the Board of Curators and are given in memory of Remington R. Williams and his outstanding service as 2020-22 student representative to the board. Six recipients will be selected annually and will receive a leadership medal to wear at graduation, a $1,000 award and an invitation to be recognized at the next board meeting to be held at their institution.

Any student, faculty or staff member may nominate a qualified individual for a Williams Award. Qualified individuals must meet minimum criteria and be an exceptional student leader who has made a positive impact on the university, inspired growth and development of their peers, advocated for the college experience, and exhibited outstanding character and collaborative spirit. Nominations should be completed using the nomination form and submitted to umacademicaffairs@umsystem.edu.

More information, including eligibility criteria and nomination materials, can be found on the UM System Academic Affairs website.
