In October, Dr. Julia Medvedeva, professor of physics and senior investigator of Materials Research Center, delivered a plenary talk at the 8th International Symposium on Transparent Conductive Materials co-organized with the Japanese 12th International Symposium on Transparent Oxide and Related Materials for Electronics and Optics in Hersonissos, Crete, Greece.

The symposia focused on the latest developments in the field of wide band-gap metal oxide materials, which are the main candidates for the forthcoming “post-silicon” electronics era. Medvedeva’s talk, “Shining Light on Hydrogen in Amorphous Oxide Semiconductors,” highlighted her recent works published in prestigious Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces and Applied Physics Letters.
