Coleman Goulding, a first-year student at S&T with plans to study aerospace engineering, won the National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholarship. He will serve as the 2023 Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner Keynote Speaker and receive a $15,000 scholarship.

The Goddard Memorial Dinner brings together nearly 2,000 members of the government, industry and educational space community. Awards are presented to outstanding individuals for accomplishments in spaceflight, engineering, science, management and education.

Each year, the National Space Club and Foundation screens qualified applicants from across the country, ranging from seniors in high school to graduate students, to choose a single winner for this scholarship. Applicants must intend to pursue a career in the science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields, be academically strong, and excel in public speaking.
