Services planned for Dr. W. Nicholas Knight

Dr. W. Nicholas Knight, professor emeritus of English, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23. A public memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Christ Episcopal Church, located at 1000 N. Main St. in Rolla.
Knight joined the university in 1975. Knight was a well-known expert on Shakespearean literature. He earned a Ph.D. in English from Indiana University, a master’s degree in English from University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in English from Amherst College.
