Passing of Dr. Walter Gajda

The Missouri S&T community is saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Walter Joseph Gajda Jr., former vice chancellor for Academic Affairs and chair of electrical engineering. He passed away Jan. 21. Gajda joined the university in 1986 as chair of electrical and computer engineering and was promoted to vice chancellor for Academic Affairs in 1993.
