A panel discussion on promotion and tenure processes will be held noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Selected panelists will offer suggestions and answer questions on various aspects of the promotion and tenure process.

Panelists include:

  • Dr. Kate Drowne, special assistant to the provost.
  • Dr. Kelvin Erickson, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of electrical and computer engineering.
  • Dr. Daniel Forciniti, associate provost of faculty affairs and professor of chemical and biochemical engineering.
  • Dr. John McManus, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of history and political science.

The discussion is open to all faculty, however those intending to engage in the next promotion and tenure cycle are encouraged to attend. A similar session for teaching and research professors will be scheduled to address questions specific to the non-tenure-track promotion process.

Lunch will be provided to all registrants. Please register using the online form.
