Tau Beta Pi attends national convention

Jennifer Collens, a senior in civil engineering, was a voting delegate at the Tau Beta Pi national convention Sept. 28-Oct. 1, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is the chapter president for the Missouri Beta Chapter. The chapter was recognized with honorable mention for the 2020-21 Most Improved Membership Award. 

Dr. Steve Watkins, professor of electrical and computer engineering, was recognized for eight years of service as a chapter advisor. Tau Beta Pi is the engineering honor society and has over 250 chapters nationally. The S&T chapter was chartered in 1906.
