Eta Kappa Nu attends leadership conference

Electrical and computer engineering students attended the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN) Student Leadership Conference Oct. 28-30 in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

The chapter was one of 42 which received the Key Chapter Recognition for effective chapter operations. Elanor Jackson, a computer engineering graduate student, was recognized as a finalist in the annual IEEE-HKN Outstanding Student Award Program. S&T was also recognized for having the largest chapter group to travel to the conference.

  • Lauryn Morris, a senior in electrical engineering
  • Steve E. Watkins, professor of electrical and computer engineering and Eta Kappa Nu chapter advisor.
