McMillen earns advising award

The Missouri Academic Advising Association awarded Amy McMillen, director of the S&T Advising Center, the 2022 MACADA Outstanding Academic Advising Award for academic advising administrator.
McMillen oversees a team of academic advisors and office staff that provide academic advising services to 1,000 first-year engineering and computer science students. She also directs and facilitates the On-Track Academic Success Program, including leading peer mentors in developing presentations.
Founded in 1992, the Missouri Academic Advising Association promotes excellence in academic advising and supports the development and professional growth of academic advisors in Missouri.
