Dr. Scott M. Olson will give the Quenon lecture titled “A Recent Tailings Dam Failure and the Future of Tailings Storage Facilities,” 1:30-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Room 103 Engineering Management Building and via Zoom.
Olson is the associate head and director of graduate studies, and faculty excellence scholar of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Illinois.
