Dr. DongHyun (Bill) Kim, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, received the Young Scientist Award at the 2022 Asia Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility in Beijing in September. The award acknowledges his contribution toward characterization and modeling of inhomogeneous dielectric materials and via structures to reduce crosstalk levels in high-speed channels.
The award recognizes young scientists who have distinguished themselves through technical accomplishments in electromagnetic compatibility and related fields.
Kim also received the IEEE Region 5 Outstanding Young Professional Award in April.
