Dr. Grace Yan, associate professor of structural engineering, will host U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center leaders at S&T for a discussion about potential collaboration on the project: “Digital-Twins for Resilience: Transforming and Harvesting Resilience through Integrated Vigorous Engineering (THRIVE).“
Dr. Ty Wamsley, director of the Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, will deliver a talk 11 a.m.-noon Monday, Oct. 17, in Room G31 Emerson Hall. Attendees will learn about the research needs and opportunities of the Coastal and Hydraulics Lab.
You are also invited to attend a mini-symposium of THRIVE 3-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Silver and Gold Room of the Havener Center, followed by a reception at Hasselmann Alumni House and a visit to the Missouri Tornado Simulator Twins.
