- St. Louis Public Radio featured Dr. Guang Xu’s research into electric vehicle fires. Xu, associate professor of mining and explosives engineering, is working with vehicle manufacturers, industrial EV users and fire safety experts to help protect people in the event of an EV-charging fire.
