French speaker series continues Oct. 12

What do we learn when we study abroad? How may we prepare for study abroad? What can we expect in terms of personal changes? How can we make the most of study abroad?
Dr. Jason Martel, associate professor and program chair of the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Teaching Foreign Language degree programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, will present a talk titled “What I learned while studying abroad and how it has informed my life, my work and my thinking.” The free talk will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, via Zoom (use passcode 723898).
