The S&T community is invited to visit the new meditation rooms in the Park Quiet Lounge, Room 219 of the Havener Center.
The meditation spaces include yoga mats and seating. The spaces are intended for mindfulness, meditation, prayer and finding a moment of peace. Guidelines for use of the spaces are posted in the lounge.
The Park Quiet Lounge, completed during the construction of the Havener Center in 2005, is named after former Chancellor John T. Park and was made possible by the university’s parents association. The quiet lounge has desks and tables, computers, a network printer and comfortable seating for individual and small-group study.
