S&T has received a $1 million, three-year NSF ADVANCE grant to help make our campus culture more inclusive and welcoming, especially for STEM faculty members who are women or members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. Making these changes and improving our campus climate will require many of advocates from all around campus.
If you would like to join the S&T ADVANCE project as an affiliated team member, please email advance@mst.edu. You will be added to email communications with information about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved in effecting real change on our campus.
Becoming an ADVANCE affiliate implies no explicit commitment but does indicate your interest and support of the goals of the S&T ADVANCE program. The names, titles and home departments of S&T ADVANCE affiliates will be included on the S&T ADVANCE website; if you would like to become an affiliate but would not like to be listed on the website, please let us know.
If you have any questions, contact Dr. Kate Drowne, special assistant to the provost, at kdrowne@mst.edu.
