University Wind Symphony to perform fall concert

The University Wind Symphony will perform under the direction of Dr. David Samson, assistant professor of music, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, in Leach Theatre. Tickets are for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and to Missouri S&T students with a valid ID.

The University Wind Symphony will perform “Ireland: Of Legend and Lore” by Robert W. Smith, “October” by Eric Whitacre, “Elements” by Brian Balmages, “The Klaxon” by Henry Fillmore and “An Overture and Themes from ‘Porgy and Bess’” by George Gershwin.

Tickets can be purchased 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Leach Theatre Box Office, online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219.
