To celebrate Constitution Day, the history and political science department is hosting a special guest lecture by Dr. Kenneth Owens, a historian at the University of Illinois Springfield.
Owens’ talk, titled “The Whiskey Rebellion and the Contested Origins of American Democracy” is at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center.
