The College of Engineering and Computing and the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education will host a panel discussion on current climate issues noon-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Room 254 Toomey Hall or via Zoom.
Learn more about climate issues affecting our world from a biological, geological and philosophical perspective. Panelists include Dr. Shane Epting, assistant professor of philosophy; Dr. Robin Verble, associate professor of biological sciences; and Dr. Wan Yang, professor of geology and geophysics.
Previous panelists have discussed the United States withdrawal from Afghanistan, the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
