Celebration of Nations is back for its 13th year celebrating the vibrant cultural diversity at Missouri S&T and in Rolla.
The celebration starts with the Parade of Nations at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The parade will feature Missouri S&T’s international students and community members carrying flags representing their home countries, marching bands, local dignitaries, and the ever-popular camels. A map of the route is available at nations.mst.edu/getinvolved/parade.
Following the parade will be a festival at the Rolla Downtown Bandshell and festival lot featuring international foods, craft vendors, cultural displays and an expanded family area and “Kids Korner” with free hands-on activities for children of all ages.
Celebration of Nations is a family-friendly event with no entrance fee. For a complete schedule of events, visit nations.mst.edu.
