The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) kicks off the faculty forum series, formerly known as early career faculty forums, noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, with a presentation titled “Successful Course Development,” in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. This lunchtime session will help faculty create relevant learning outcomes, build an effective syllabus, and develop appropriate assessments. Join the CAFE experts as they guide you through these areas to help you develop a successful and effective course.

Pizza and beverages will be provided. Register online by noon Tuesday, Sept. 6.

CAFE’s faculty forums are held bi-weekly throughout the fall semester from noon-1 p.m. on Wednesdays in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. All faculty are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Sylvia Dees, CAFE office support assistant, at deess@mst.edu.
