David Spivey, director of graduate and international admissions for enrollment management, has accepted the role of interim vice provost for enrollment management. Spivey will fill the position held since 2019 by Shobi Sivadasan, who becomes the vice president for enrollment management at Saint Mary’s College of California Sept. 1.

Spivey joined Missouri S&T in 2021 as the director of graduate and international admissions. Previously, he served as assistant vice president for graduate enrollment at the Chatham University in Pennsylvania. Prior to working at Chatham University, he spent 10 years at Northern Arizona University, where he started as a career and academic advisor before becoming assistant director in the graduate college and later the director of the graduate college. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Spanish from Georgia State University and Northern Illinois University, respectively.
