Search started for vice chancellor of research and innovation

A national search is underway for Missouri S&T’s next vice chancellor of research and innovation. Acting as the chief research officer, this individual will provide leadership, direction and strategic vision for units that include sponsored programs, proposal development, research compliance, faculty fellows and related administrative support staff. The vice chancellor will also oversee a growing portfolio of programs and services in the areas of technology transition, research commercialization and economic development.

Dr. Bill Fahrenholtz, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of ceramic engineering, and Dr. Ming Leu, Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of mechanical engineering, are serving as co-chairs for this search.
