Join friends and colleagues in celebrating the retirement of Dr. Wayne Huebner, professor of ceramic engineering. Drop by at 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in the McNutt Hall commons.
Huebner joined the faculty at Missouri S&T in 1991 as an associate professor of ceramic engineering. He is also an alumnus, having earned a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in ceramic engineering from the university in 1982 and 1987, respectively. During his tenure, he has served as chair of ceramic engineering, director of the Materials Research Center, vice provost for research, chair of materials science and engineering, and chair of the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE).
