Attend presentations for innovation leader candidates starting Tuesday

Dr. Kamal Khayat, interim vice chancellor for research and innovation, is pleased to announce that three finalists will visit campus to interview for the position of associate vice chancellor for innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization.

You’re invited to attend the finalists’ presentations to learn about their vision and leadership philosophy for advancing these strategic areas.

The presentations will be held:

  • 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, with John Leja, founder and CEO of iVIK Holdings, in Room 121 of the Computer Science Building
     
  • 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, with Tim Faley, Kiril Sokoloff Distinguished Chair of Entrepreneurship and special assistant to the president at the University of the Virgin Islands, in Room 121 of the Computer Science Building
     
  • 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, with Christopher Meyers, business development executive at Feynman Center for Innovation at Los Alamos National Laboratory, in Room 121 of the Computer Science Building.

All three presentations will be available via Zoom.
