Oerther elected president of graduate faculty

Dr. Daniel B. Oerther, professor of environmental health engineering, has been elected president of the graduate faculty at Missouri S&T. He has served as secretary since 2017.
The graduate faculty is responsible for the establishment of the policies, rules, and regulations governing all graduate studies at Missouri S&T. As president, Oerther also serves as chair of the graduate council, which includes one representative from each graduate degree granting program and from each department offering graduate courses not otherwise represented.
Oerther joined the S&T faculty in 2010.
