Due to upcoming construction, a partial campus fiber outage is planned for Thursday, June 23. The outage will start at 7:30 a.m. and will last approximately eight hours.

The following buildings will be affected:

  • Residential Commons 1&2
  • University Commons
  • 710 University Drive
  • 800 University Drive
  • General Services Building
  • Dangerous Materials Storage Facility
  • Compressible Flow Lab
  • Temp Research Facility
  • Transit Depot
  • Miner Village
  • 4 Fraternity Drive

Internet access will be unavailable during the outage. Electronic locks will operate as normal during the outage, but other services provided by the fiber communications network will not be available. Service will be restored to each building incrementally as the work is performed. The buildings on the north side of Interstate 44 will be restored before the buildings on the south side of Interstate 44.
