Student well-being and human resource services are hosting a training titled “RESPOND: Partnering for Campus Mental Health” that will address policies such as FERPA, crisis and mental health resources. The training is to help recognize when someone may be struggling or in distress, increase your awareness of mental health resources and to prevent suicide. Staff and faculty can sign up for training to learn to recognize symptoms often associated with mental health problems and leave with an action plan to respond effectively.

The training is 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, in St. Pat’s A Ballroom of the Havener Center. Registration is required as space is limited. Register online by Monday, June 6. Food will be provided.

This training is part of student well-being’s “Summer of Well-Being” series. To find upcoming events, visit wellbeing.mst.edu/summerevents. For any questions or concerns, contact student well-being at wellbeing@mst.edu or 573-341-4211.
