The Missouri Bicentennial Quilt traveling exhibition opening reception will be held 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
The quilt, as well as quilts from participating nearby counties, will be on display. The Missouri Bicentennial Quilt features blocks representing all 114 counties in Missouri. The Bicentennial Quilt has been on tour across the state since 2021 as part of the state’s 200th anniversary of statehood.
After the reception, the quilt will be moved to the State Historical Society of Missouri Rolla Research Center in Room G-3 of S&T’s library, where it will remain on display until Tuesday, June 14.
