Missouri S&T’s medical club, Scrubs, will host a STOP THE BLEED course Friday, April 22. The event will be held in three sessions: 1-2 p.m., 2-3 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center.
STOP THE BLEED is a national awareness campaign designed to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
Through the course, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim could be the one most likely to save them. Take the course and become empowered to make a difference when a bleeding emergency occurs.
