ISC graduate research symposium set for April 13

Missouri S&T’s Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) will host the16th annual Graduate Research Symposium 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Dr. Colin Potts, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, will be the distinguished guest speaker.

All campus community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The event features presentations on research funded with seed money from the ISC and the smart living and advanced manufacturing signature areas. Graduate students present research in the center’s five following areas:

  1. intelligent manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems,
  2. cyber physical and smart living systems,
  3. advanced simulation, sensing, control, and communications,
  4. computational intelligence and embedded systems, and
  5. cybersecurity and trustworthiness.
