Dr. Ravi Samtaney, a candidate for S&T’s Kummer Chair of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science, will give a presentation to the campus community 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in Room 213 of Butler-Carlton Hall and via Zoom (passcode: 381716). His presentation is titled “Suppressing Fluid Instabilities Using a Magnetic Field.”
Samtaney is the dean of the physical science and engineering division of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. He earned a Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Rutgers University.
