Abbett seminar to focus on structural health monitoring

Dr. Ahsan Kareem will present a talk titled, “Structural Health Monitoring: From Virtual Shakers to Machine Learning” at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, in Room 316 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall and on Zoom.
Kareem is the Robert M. Moran Professor of engineering and the director of the NatHaz modeling laboratory at the University of Notre Dame.
The lecture is hosted by the Center for Intelligent Infrastructure and civil, architectural and environmental engineering department as part of the Abbett Distinguished Seminar Series. Get more details on the center’s website.
