Han leads committee for global aerospace conference

Dr. Frank Han served as the technical discipline chair for the Plasmadynamics and Lasers Technical Committee during the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) SciTech Forum 2022 in January.
Han is an assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at S&T.
The event was held Jan. 3-7 in San Diego and online, with nearly 3,000 technical presentations on the latest innovations spanning 60 aerospace research topics including aeroacoustics, fluid dynamics, applied aerodynamics, aircraft design, spacecraft structures, electric propulsion, and guidance, navigation and control.
AIAA is the world’s largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession with nearly 30,000 individual members from 91 countries, and 95 corporate members.
