Fitness Center, swimming pool to reopen for employees, retirees

Missouri S&T will reopen the Student Fitness Center and swimming pool to S&T faculty, staff and retirees beginning Tuesday, March 1, with a new membership fee structure. The memberships were previously suspended due to COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Membership fees will be set up in three tiers:

  • 12-month membership for $25 per month ($300 total), which may be paid in full or through a monthly paycheck debit.
  • 6-month membership for $30 per month ($180 total), which must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • 3-month membership for $35 per month ($105 total), which must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Hours of operation are:

Student Fitness Center

  • Monday through Thursday: 6 a.m.-midnight
  • Friday: 6 a.m.-11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1-11 p.m.

Swimming Pool

  • Monday through Friday: Noon-3 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 1-6 p.m.

The Student Recreation Center’s racquetball courts, indoor walking track, and track located at Allgood-Bailey Stadium will continue to be free to faculty and staff with priority given to students, intramurals and other events when necessary. Preferred usage times for faculty and staff are:

  • Monday through Friday: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-7:45 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1-5 p.m.

In addition to accessing facilities, lockers are available for $10 per month with a 12-month contract and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment may be paid in full or through a monthly paycheck debit.
