CIES research seminar set for Feb. 28

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) will welcome Dr. Witold Krajewski at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, via Zoom. Use meeting ID 956 8871 5288 and passcode 202180.
Krajewski is professor of civil and environmental engineering, Rose and Joseph Summer Chair in Water Sciences Engineering, faculty research engineer, hydroscience and engineering director for the Iowa Flood Center, and researcher for the Center for Global and Regional Environmental Research at the University of Iowa. He will discuss the science and technology behind the Iowa Flood Center, which was created at the University of Iowa in response to the devastating flood of 2008. Krajewski was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2021.
