Current Transplantation Reports published an article by three S&T researchers titled “Reducing Kidney Discard With Artificial Intelligence Decision Support: the Need for a Transdisciplinary Systems Approach.”
The authors are:
- Dr. Casey Canfield, assistant professor of engineering management and systems engineering
- Dr. Daniel Shank, assistant professor of psychological science
- Dr. Cihan Dagli, professor of engineering management and systems engineering.
The article combines ideas from systems engineering, psychology and computer science and proposes designs to transplant stakeholders for feedback.
