- Dr. John C. McManus’ book, Island Infernos: The U.S. Army’s Pacific War Odyssey, 1944, was featured in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s article, “20 of our favorite new books from 2021, a year with plenty of options,” published Dec. 5. McManus is a Curators’ Distinguished Professor of history.
- The History News Network published an article by McManus titled “Remember the Army’s Role in the Pacific War: Important Then, Influential Afterward” on Nov. 7.
- Reporter Ashley Eddy with KOLR-10 TV in Springfield interviewed Chancellor Mo Dehghani and Fred Stone, director of design, construction and space management, for a story about upcoming construction projects. The story, “Missouri S&T to see new advancements with approval of projects,” aired Dec. 4.
