Rogers selected as guest lecturer at national dams meeting

Dr. J. David Rogers has been selected as the United States Society on Dams’ third annual Legacy Lecturer at the organization’s annual meeting on April 11 in San Diego.
Rogers is professor and Karl F. Hasselmann Missouri Endowed Chair in Geological and Petroleum Engineering at S&T. He is an expert in the geoforensics of dam, levee and slope stability failures, flood control and fluvial geomorphology, the Mississippi Delta, and site characterization for seismic site response.
