Lecture on mysteries of the rainforests to be presented in French Nov. 17

Theodore Sumnicht will lecture, in French, on mysteries of the rainforests at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, on Zoom.

Theodore Sumnicht will deliver Ants Are Exploding! Mysteries of the Rainforests (“Des fourmis explosent! Mystères des forêts tropicales”) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, on Zoom.

Sumnicht is the manager and residential caretaker of the Ozark Research Field Station and an academic specialist in biological sciences. He has researched rainforest biodiversity in the tropical rainforests of Central America and Borneo.

The talk, which is free and open to the public, is presented by the arts, language, and philosophy department. For more information, please contact Dr. Michael Gueldry, professor of arts, languages and philosophy.
