Twenty-three Missouri S&T faculty members received promotions and/or tenure, effective Sept. 1. 

The faculty members are:

• Dr. Michael Bruening, promoted to professor of history and political science
• Dr. Devin Burns, promoted to associate professor of psychological science and granted tenure
• Dr. Aleksandr Chernatynskiy, promoted to associate professor of physics and granted tenure
• Dr. Jessica Cundiff, promoted to associate professor of psychological science and granted tenure
• Dr. Bill Gillis, promoted to associate teaching professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
• Dr. Joseph Graham, promoted to associate professor of nuclear engineering and radiation science and granted tenure
• Dr. Xiaoming He, promoted to professor of mathematics and statistics
• Dr. Jie Huang, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and granted tenure
• Dr. Ryan Hutcheson, promoted to teaching professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering
