Dr. Eduardo Kac, artist and professor of art and technology studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, will present a lecture at Missouri S&T on his work in contemporary art and poetry at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Leach Theatre and via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public.
Kac will contextualize his pioneering telepresence work, give examples and discuss his bio art and his recent work in outer space.
Face coverings and maintaining proper social distancing are recommended at the in-person event. This lecture is presented by Missouri S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department and is part of the university’s 150th anniversary celebration.
