Oct. 12 movie night to feature ‘Stand and Deliver’

Join student diversity initiatives (SDI) the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and National Society of Black Engineers at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, for a movie night and discussion. Attendees will watch “Stand and Deliver,” the story of Jaime Escalante, a high school teacher who successfully inspired his dropout-prone students to learn calculus. Register for the event.
