The S&T community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, via livestream. At 2:30 p.m., Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health, will deliver a keynote address named “Biomedical Research: Building a Future of Precision Health for All” via livestream.

The development of the facility was guided by the vision of creating an anchor to harness the power of each of the four universities in the UM System, MU Health Care, MU Extension and external partners to bring together research, technologies and treatments to transform health care and save lives.
