Learn about Missouri’s German heritage tomorrow

Dr. Petra Dewitt, associate professor of history and political science, will present “Missouri’s German Heritage” at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, on Zoom. The lecture will explore how German-speaking settlers influenced our agriculture, arts, sciences and beer.
The lecture is part of the Missouri 2021 Bicentennial Alliance lecture series hosted by S&T. The series, “Honoring our past, envisioning the future,” celebrates the cultural history of the region and explores social and economic growth topics as they relate to Missourians.
